As passengers in isolation (well Sandra anyway), the ship has some additional protocols; we’ve been assigned a special cabin steward, he visits twice per day (staying outside the cabin) and brings clean towels and a couple of bottles of water. We also have to put the trash in special bags and our personal laundry and the dirty towels each go in their own special bags. It appears the ship is following some good procedures to isolate and separate potentially contaminated items. The purser also calls each day to see how Sandra is doing and asks us if there is anything we need. We tested ourselves again today; I was negative, Sandra was positive. The hardest part is the boredom of being stuck in the cabin all the time, the balcony helps - when it's not too windy. The only potential good thing from this is that we are on a 9-day transatlantic crossing, so obviously we won’t miss any shore excursions. Saw an interesting lecture by one of the writers for The Simpsons, Mike Reiss. Mike has been involved with the show for 34 years and was a very funny presenter.

Sandra checking that all is well
