Freeport on the Grand Bahama Island is a strange place for a cruise ship stop. Basically the island has no main town, the ship docks in a place with only a few tourist shops and the main shopping market is about half an hour away with no ships shuttle bus. Other than a quick walk around the dock to ogle the nearby superyacht, we spent the rest of the time relaxing on the ship – along with many others.

Later as we were steaming out of Freeport the captain announced that, due to adverse weather conditions, our next stop in Bermuda was canceled. So now we have 8 sea days before we reach our final destination, Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
