Sir Ian Rankin is a British author famous for writing the Rebus series of crime novels over a 40 year period, several TV series were also made based on his novels – he has been travelling on this voyage as a passenger and today kindly volunteered to sit for a Q&A session in the theater. Obviously, Sir Ian is a well-polished, much interviewed celebrity; he was witty, direct and open with his answers to questions and talked about his career, writing process and life in Edinburgh – we enjoyed it immensely..
