The nurse from the medical center came by our cabin early this morning to take a nasal swab from me, they still did want to test Sandra. Even though they promised the results in about 20 minutes, I was still waiting after 2 hours – so I called down to the medical center to hear my result was negative. I also asked about the process for Sandra as I thought this was day 6 since her first symptom and this was their prescribed isolation period. Apparently, they count the first day as zero and so today is only day five – very frustrating. Sandra is going nuts, and I don’t blame her. I was informed that the nurse would come first thing tomorrow morning to swab Sandra. Later in the day Sandra did a Covid test and it was barely positive – only a very faint line on the test kit, we are taking this as a positive sign that she is tending negative (now there’s a confusing sentence).
